Oliver came to Safe Harbor along with Shar, Renee, Robin and Zaranna. His owner ended up in hospice, and Oliver needed a place to stay till his new forever home could be found. He was intact when he came to rescue and very timid. Oliver was gelded the first week of March, and on his way to a happy life as a donkey gelding. He is a sweet and gentle donkey and very motivated by treats. He is getting lots of new experiences in rescue, and we are often surprised at the things that scare him (he literally quivered before he first drank out of a water trough). Oliver's foster mom says he enjoys having his nose petted and being shown affection. He is a great little donkey, and has a lot of potential. His adoption fee is $200.
